These cookies are nutrient-dense, using ingredients that support hormone balance and pelvic health, while being festive and delicious!

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups rolled oats or Zego Toxin Free Oats (rich in fiber to support digestion and gut health)

½ cup almond flour (contains magnesium for muscle relaxation and hormone support)

¼ cup ground flaxseeds (high in lignans for hormone balance and omega-3s for inflammation reduction)

1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon (balances blood sugar and adds a festive flavor)

½ tsp nutmeg (for holiday warmth and hormone regulation)

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp sea salt

1/3 cup coconut oil or unsweetened applesauce (healthy fats for hormone production or a lower-fat option)

1/3 cup honey or maple syrup (natural sweetener with antioxidants)

1 egg or egg replacer(binds the cookies and provides protein)

1 tsp vanilla extract (natural flavor enhancer)

¼ cup unsweetened dried cranberries (rich in antioxidants and festive color)

¼ cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher) or I like Lilly’s Brand which are sugar free and sweetened with stevia. (provides magnesium and a hint of indulgence)

  • Optional: 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (for added omega-3s and crunch)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients: oats, almond flour, ground flaxseeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: melted coconut oil or applesauce, honey or maple syrup, egg or flax egg, and vanilla extract.

Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until combined.

Fold in the dried cranberries, dark chocolate chips, and any optional nuts.

Scoop about 1 ½ tablespoons of dough for each cookie onto the baking sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork or the back of a spoon.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Benefits:

  • Oats: Promote healthy digestion and stabilize blood sugar.
  • Flaxseeds: Provide phytoestrogens for hormone balance.
  • Coconut oil or nuts: Healthy fats support hormone production.
  • Dark chocolate: Antioxidants and magnesium enhance mood and reduce stress.

Enjoy these guilt-free cookies as a tasty treat that aligns with pelvic and hormonal health! Add text to your email.
